1.1 Closed sets Let k be an algebraically closed field. Let A = Ak = {a = (a1, . . . , an) : ai ∈ k} = k be affine space. So A is a point, and A = k. Let An = k[T1, . . . , Tn] be the k-algebra of polynomials. If f ∈ An, a ∈ A, then f(a) ∈ k. Suppose S ⊆ An be a subset. Then Z(S) = {a ∈ A : f(a) = 0,∀f ∈ S} ⊆ A. A subset Z ⊆ A is called closed if Z = Z(S) for some S ⊆ An. Example 1.1. If n = 1, Z ⊂ A is closed iff Z is finite or Z = A.

Some notes on the existence of an inequality in Banach algebra
We shall prove an existence inequality for two maps on Banach algebra, withan example and in sequel we have some results on R and Rn spaces. This waycan be applied for generalization of some subjects of mathematics in teachingwhich how we can extend a math problem to higher level.
متن کاملMath 55b Lecture Notes
This is Harvard College’s famous Math 55b, instructed by Dennis Gaitsgory. The formal name for this class is “Honors Real and Complex Analysis” but it generally goes by simply “Math 55b”. It is an accelerated one-semester class covering the basics of analysis, primarily real but also some complex analysis. The permanent URL is http://web.evanchen.cc/~evanchen/coursework. html, along with all my...

متن کاملNber Working Paper Series How and Why Do Teacher Credentials Matter for Student Achievement?
Education researchers and policy makers agree that teachers differ in terms of quality and that quality matters for student achievement. Despite prodigious amounts of research, however, debate still persists about the causal relationship between specific teacher credentials and student achievement. In this paper, we use a rich administrative data set from North Carolina to explore a range of qu...
